Opicom is a modular Single-Sign-On-Surrounding, which provides the operator an interface to the plant. The production data acquisition (PDE) provides the interface between the control and the central data base.

SPS: The PLC (programmable logic controller) is the heart of the plant
PRODUCTION DATA ACQUISITION: The production data acquisition is responsible for the data exchange between PLC and data base
DATA BASE: The data base saves current and historical information about the plant and the products
ORDER MANAGEMENT: Here the production orders are entered and prepared for the procuction
MASTER DATA: The master data provide a control of the setting of the basic plant configuration as well as of the entire opicom-range of products
MAINTENANCE MODUL: The maintenance modul alleviates an overview about the necessary maintenance
INVENTORY CONTROL: Allows an overview about the current inventory and batch history
REPORTS: Delivery of customized adjusted analysis, which can be taken for efficiency analysis
